Routine Referral Process: Patient referred by a physician or a nurse practitioner. Patient is triaged to appropriate physician or program.

Description of Service

The Misericordia Community Hospital’s Child Health Behaviour Clinic offers a number of programs and services to help children and their families with their children’s social and emotional development. The programs offered assist children and families to learn skills that facilitate adaptive responses to challenging behaviours, enhance positive behaviour, and improve family functioning. Services include: physician-based assessment or treatment, multi-disciplinary consultation/assessment and intervention, individual, family, group and play therapy.
